Can Kegels Change Your Sex Life Forever???

This is a follow up to the 5 things you can do RIGHT NOW to last longer in bed.

The bad news is that even though you can start doing Kegel’s right now, (much like any other exercise program) you will not see immediate results.

The good news is that when you do start seeing results, they will blow your mind … and hers 😉

There’s a lot of misinformation out there, so lets go over the facts.

PC MUSCLE

  •  Wikipedia Summary:
    • The “pubococcygeus muscle“, or PC muscle, is a hammock-like muscle, found in both sexes, that stretches from the pubic bone to the tail bone forming the floor of the pelvic cavity and supporting the pelvic organs.
      • The PC muscle begins around the anus and runs up to the urinary sphincter.
    • It controls urine flow, aids urinary control, and contracts during orgasm
    • A well-developed PC muscle can enhance sex and orgasm.
    • The PC muscle also allows men to move the penis up and down while the penis is erect.
      • This is in essence a Kegel exercise contraction.
  • My clarification:
    • Most people can find this muscle by stopping the flow of urine in mid-stream.

KEGELS

  • Wikipedia Summary:
    • A Kegel exercise, named after Dr. Arnold Kegel, consists of contracting and relaxing the muscles which form part of the pelvic floor (sometimes called the “Kegel muscles”).
    • Kegels are used to strengthen the PC muscle and other muscles.
    • Kegels can help men achieve stronger erections and gain greater control over ejaculation.
      • Kegel exercises may also increase sexual gratification.
      • There are said to be significant benefits for the problem of premature ejaculation from having more muscular control of the pelvis.
    • It is also possible that strengthening the pelvic floor may allow some men to achieve a form of orgasm without allowing ejaculation, and thereby perhaps reach multiple “climaxes” during sexual activity. (Stay tuned for more details about the Male Multiple Orgasm)

Kegels are most frequently performed in sets. Here are several techniques:

  • Quick pumps:
    • Do 15 reps of quick pumps, pause for 30 seconds and repeat.
    • Start at 15 and work your way up to 100 reps two times a day.
  • Hold and release:
    • Contract the muscle slowly and hold for 5 seconds, release slowly.
    • Work your way to at least 25 reps two times a day.
  • Elevator:
    • Slowly contract 1/3 of the way, pause, then 2/3 of the way, pause, then all the way.
    • Do 10 reps two times a day.

The great things is, you can do Kegels almost anywhere!!

  • Driving in traffic
  • In bed
  • Sitting in class
  • Sitting at work
  • Standing in line at the movies
  • Watching a movie
  • … you get the idea

Hopefully, just reading the definitions/explanations was enough to convince you of the importance of doing daily Kegels.  If not, I want to reiterate the sexual benefits.

  • Stronger, harder, more frequent erections
  • Lasting longer in bed (no more premature ejaculation)
  • Ability to learn to have multiple orgasms.

All this from literally MINUTES a day.

Be patient when you begin Kegel exercisesm as it may take 4 to 6 weeks to see a substantial difference in performance.

I’m all about the Kegels and I wish more people knew to do them!

However, for guys I’ve learned that while a regular regimen of exercises can indeed provide multiple orgasms, it lessens the intensity of the orgasm – which can be a pro or a con depending the sort of mind-blowing sex session you’re looking for.

Kegels can definitely limit the intensity of the orgasm! This is done on purpose if you’re trying to avoid ejaculation in order to achieve multiple orgasms.

However, if you are not trying to avoid ejaculation, Kegels can actually intensify the male orgasm.
