About SexEd

Sex is one of life’s greatest pleasures …

Isn’t it time you learned how to be great at it??

I started this blog because our society has a serious lack of REAL sexual education.

In school we barely learn about the human body.  If you enroll in Human Sexuality at the University level, you will learn more about anatomical details, birth control & diseases, but I have yet to find a college class that dares to teach people how to maximize their sexual pleasure.

We are a culture that tries to instill “values” in men and women by teaching them that pre-marital sex is wrong. I’m not here to debate morality, you can find a different blog for that, but what ends up happening is a woman expects something “magical” to happen on her wedding night.  Occasionally it does, but more often then not she is in for a rather disappointing experience.   How can she not be?  In her husbands defense all of his sexual information comes from playboy.

Its amazing to me that in our advanced society, (both technologically and culturally) sex is still taboo!

Studies show that an average person has sex 127 times per year... That’s a lot of sex!  So if you wanted to make the most of it, what are your options?

  1. Trial and Error
    • About 70% of the people stay in this category.  They have the mechanics down by now (in … out… repeat if necessary 🙂 ), they’re going through the motions and yet something is missing… They wouldn’t dare to bring up sexual questions in group discussion, or even in a private discussion with their partner, so they just keep doing what they’re doing.
  2. Magazines & Trial and Error
    • About 25% of the people (men and women) get their sexpertise from magazines.  Women have Cosmo, men have Maxim.  The only problem is the information in magazines is nothing more than fancy headlines designed to sell them.
  3. Books from Sex Guru’s and all of the above.
    • That leaves about 5% who venture out in search of the holy grail.  The problem here is that not all guru’s are created equal.  Some of the best selling books on sex are actually the least useful, while some books you’ve never heard of contain valuable insight.

So where does that leave the average person?? ~ sadly it leaves them back at trial and error.

If you have been reading my posts, my qualifications should speak for themselves.

I do not claim to be a Sex Guru.

I’m just a student of sexual pleasure... a student that has read MANY books by a great deal of sex guru’s. I have sorted through their advice for any possible insight and compiled it in my own way.  I then tested it extensively, crossing a lot of it off my list.

This blog is a sort of notepad / diary that I’m opening up to the world.  I’m not sure where I want to go with it in the future, but once I get a certain number of posts I would like to re-compile them text-book style to make a curriculum for a college classroom.

Here is your chance to ask questions!

I will do my best to answer each and every question that gets posted as a comment or emailed to me.  When you post a comment, you do not have to provide an email, and you can feel free to create a fake name for anonymity.

If you have a question that you would like answered (especially if the answer might benefit others) send it in an email. All emails are 100% Anonymous.

You can expect posts 2 to 3 times per week, so make sure to come back soon!

Studying Has NEVER been this FUN 😉 !!!
